We have a modern healthcare facility and use an Ultrasound to verify pregnancy and health of the puppies. Smith can be used as a reference for us as he regularly visits our facilities and see’s all our dogs to keep everyone up to date on vaccinations. Smith received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Miche Smith is in charge of our healthcare program from Holly Pond Animal Clinic. All our puppies go through a parasite preventive program right before they go to their new forever homes. Every dog here at Bama Huskies as well as every litter born here will have an individual health record and we keep them maintained. We also have our own health care lab so we can keep a check on our puppies for worms and parasites and run other tests that help us take great care of our dogs.
Our whelping center is climate controlled so our huskies stay comfortable. We pressure wash and disinfect our kennels every day.Īll our husky puppies are born inside our whelping center. We believe a clean environment is essential for happy and healthy dogs and our puppies. Our main kennel area is 35 feet wide by 70 feet long and it is covered with a metal roof. She took second place in her first Akc competition and now has her first Akc title! We expect she will accomplish great things in the near future in Akc competitions.
